About Us
From CH and SH came CHeriSH, because to be cherished is to be seen.

Our Story
When we were placed in foster care, our foster mother, Louise Navy Wallace, quickly discovered our twin mischief. As twins, we often played the game of answering for each other when one of our names was called. Louise, who was herself a twin to her brother Louis, caught on fast. With wisdom and humor, she put a stop to our antics by calling us only “CH” and “SH.”
She was the only person who ever used those names, and in doing so, she gave us both identity and unity. CHeriSH Times Two is our way of honoring her gift of truly knowing us and reminding every young person we serve that they, too, are seen, cherished, and valued.
Meet The Founders
CHeriSH Times Two was founded by twin sisters Cherry and Sherry Wilmore, lovingly known as Everybody’s Favorite Twins. Having grown up in Louisiana’s foster care system, they experienced the challenges and uncertainty that come with a lack of stability. What helped them persevere was faith, resilience, and the support of a community that believed in them.
Motivated by their own journey, they set out to create meaningful change for youth in similar situations. That passion led to the launch of programs that provide tools, resources, and love, meeting practical needs while reminding young people they’re not alone.

What We've Built
Transitions of Love
Helping foster youth step into independence with dignity and support. We provide laptops, dorm and apartment essentials, hygiene kits, and access to vocational certifications for young people aging out of foster care. So far, over 80 youth have received the tools they need to start their next chapter prepared and confident.
Holidays of Hope
Because no child should feel forgotten during the holidays. This program brings home-style meals, cheer kits, and seasonal support to children in group homes and foster families. We’ve delivered hundreds of meals and holiday packages to youth across Terrebonne, Lafourche, and neighboring parishes.
Seasonal Support Kits
Meeting needs all year long. From Winter Warmth Kits to Back-to-School supplies, we make sure foster youth are cared for in every season. These kits include clothing, hygiene items, and essentials that restore dignity and ease the burden on caregivers.
Twin Fest Louisiana
A cultural celebration with a cause. Founded by our co-founders, Twin Fest Louisiana draws thousands each year in a vibrant celebration of twin culture and community. All proceeds directly support the Transition of Love Initiative, helping foster youth prepare for independent living.
